The Chandler Unified School District was honored recently along with five others with the K-12 Innovation Alliance Award during a summit of educators at Arizona State University.
The district and other recipients of the inaugural award presented at the second K-12 Innovation Alliance Summit on the Tempe campus were recognized “for their forward-thinking use of technology to promote education,” according to a release.
The winners were called “a group of leaders in K-12 education who serve as role models and inspiration for fellow educators.”
Chandler received the Innovative District Award.
The district “has demonstrated remarkable leadership in implementing solutions and initiatives to enhance the overall educational experience,” the release stated.
“This district has strategically driven positive change, optimizing resources and leveraging innovative practices to address the diverse needs of students, teachers and the broader school community.”
