Chandler school board OKs new career and tech-ed fees

By unanimously approving its consent agenda at its Aug. 5 meeting, the Chandler Unified Governing Board green-lighted fees within programs that have been a recent focus of board and administration attention.

The board approved a new career and technical education fee schedule. A staff report states the increases were “due to the new CUSD CTE Centralized courses being added at Chandler High and Perry High School.”

Fees include a $100 charge for Medical Assisting I, while Automotive Technologies I and Automotive Technologies III / IV both have $75 fees.
