Chandler school board OKs $150K more for A/C maintenance

The Chandler Unified School District Governing Board’s approval of an increase to an existing annual maintenance and repair contract at its April 23 meeting was routine.

But before approving it, the board and CUSD administrators had a brief discussion about some ways district buildings are aging and requiring more maintenance.

The board unanimously approved a $150,000 adjustment to an annual contract with Emcor Services, bringing the initially estimated $600,000 contract to $750,000.
