A presenter at a Chandler Unified School District Governing Board study session last week provided an update on marketing, communications and public relations.
One board member didn’t seem to agree, support or find relevance in much of the update. He didn’t even like its description.
“This seems like more of a strategic communications plan than the strategic marketing plan I asked for about five months ago,” board member Kurt Rohrs said. “I asked some very specific questions about defining the market and how we’re going to attack it. So the questions I still have are, in a strategic marketing plan, who is your market, what do they want and how are you going to satisfy those demands?”
