There weren’t many actions taken by the Chandler Unified School District Governing Board at their only meeting of the month, held Jan. 17.
The board chose its president and vice president for the rest of 2024. One of the votes was unanimous, but the other was not.
All five board members voted for Barb Mozdzen to be the president through the last regular board meeting of December 2024. Mozdzen, who has served on the board since 2008, was the board’s president for several years leading up to 2023, when Jason Olive was chosen for the role.
