Chandler school board approves nine recommended policy changes

Like most Arizona governing bodies, the Chandler Unified School District Governing Board typically approves consent agendas with little or no discussion.

There was a more lengthy discussion before the CUSD board unanimously approved its agenda at its Oct. 23 regular meeting.

The consent agenda included nine board policy revisions. Board member Kurt Rohrs pointed out that since one aim of CUSD switching from the Arizona School Board Association to an organization called Trust Model Policy for policy hosting was to “solely follow state statute, perhaps the switch as “maybe not that good of an idea.”
