The Chandler Unified School District Governing Board only approved one action item at its Feb. 12 regular meeting, but it’s one students and teachers will likely appreciate.
The board unanimously approved a $2.81 million contract with Pueblo Mechanical for heating and air conditioning upgrades on the Santan K-8 Elementary and Junior High School campus in south Chandler.
A staff report states the rooftop units on the campus were installed in 2002 and have “reached the end of their expected service life and need replacement.”
