Chandler public input expanded to more city meetings

An ordinance passed by the Chandler City Council on July 18 creates another opportunity for the public to weigh in on various topics.

The ordinance, approved unanimously as part of the council’s consent agenda, creates a public input time that previously didn’t exist at all council work sessions and subcommittee meetings.

The council will only take public comments about topics on the published meeting agenda, the ordinance states. As much as 15 minutes will be allotted for such public comments at all applicable meetings.
