Chandler police update collision at Arizona Avenue, Queen Creek Road
Chandler police said Wednesday that neither impairment nor speeding was the cause of a two-car collision Tuesday afternoon.
Two people were sent to the hospital after the crash at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Arizona Avenue and Queen Creek Road.
Authorities said one vehicle was southbound on Arizona Avenue. The other vehicle turned left in front of the other vehicle from northbound Arizona Avenue to westbound Queen Creek Road when the collision occurred, police said.

Chandler police said Wednesday that neither impairment nor speeding was the cause of a two-car collision Tuesday afternoon.
Two people were sent to the hospital after the crash at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Arizona Avenue and Queen Creek Road.
Authorities said one vehicle was southbound on Arizona Avenue. The other vehicle turned left in front of the other vehicle from northbound Arizona Avenue to westbound Queen Creek Road when the collision occurred, police said.
One person suffered minor injuries and the other’s injuries were more severe but non-life threatening as of Wednesday morning, police reported.
A traffic control box was damaged in the crash, causing lights at the intersection to go out.
