Chandler Police are seeking the public's help with a sexual assault that it says occurred in Chandler in October of 1991.

Chandler Police first received report of the incident in October 2024, according to a news release.

This week, police sent out a copy of the police sketch, a graphic from its social media post with a suspect description and a screenshot of the area of Apache Park, where police say the incident took place.

"The Chandler Police Department needs your help identifying the pictured suspect from a sexual assault that occurred over 30(-plus) years ago in Chandler," police wrote in the release. "While at Apache Park at 1300 N. Hartford Street, the victim was sexually and physically assaulted by the suspect. If you have any details about this incident or know who the suspect is, please contact Det. Walters at 480-782-4494. You can remain anonymous."
