Chandler police getting mental health wellness program

The city of Chandler’s fiscal 2025 budget includes funding for a mental health crisis and wellness program for its police department.

The Chandler City Council is expected to approve a $150,000, one-year contract for such services at its Thursday, Aug. 15 meeting.

The meeting is set for 6 p.m. at Chandler City Hall, 88 E. Chicago St. in Downtown Chandler.
