Chandler police find drugs in Mesa apartment, arrest 2

Two people have been arrested and face several felony charges linked to drugs, firearms and money laundering, Chandler police said.
The Chandler Police Department’s Narcotics Unit arrested Juan Guzman on July 26 during a narcotics investigation, according to a release.
He was transporting 3,000 fentanyl pills at the time, police said. A search warrant was served at the suspect’s Mesa apartment where detectives seized 51,000 fentanyl pills, 10 firearms and $31,760.
An additional suspect, Norelia Macedo also was arrested on related charges, police said.
