Chandler Police confirm names of mother, daughter in apparent murder-suicide

Chandler police have released the identities of a woman and her young daughter who were found dead June 25. Police said Cheryl Brashier, 49, and her daughter, Shelby Brashier, 10, were found dead in their Chandler condominium, located near Priest Drive and Ray Road.

Chandler police have released the identities of a woman and her young daughter who were found dead June 25.
Police said Cheryl Brashier, 49, and her daughter, Shelby Brashier, 10, were found dead in their Chandler condominium, located near Priest Drive and Ray Road.
The deaths are being investigated as a murder-suicide, police said.
According to police, a family friend went to check on the family the evening of June 25 and found the front door unlocked.
The friend discovered the bodies in a bedroom. Chandler Police said both are believed to have died from gunshot wounds, as officers found a firearm in the bedroom.
