A 24-year-old Phoenix man has been arrested as the suspect in a sexual assault in Chandler, police said.
Dexter Deshon Leroy Greyer was booked into jail on several charges, including sexual assault and kidnapping, police said.
On Jan. 5, the Chandler Police Department received a report of a sexual assault that occurred that morning near West Colt Road and North Bullmoose Drive.
A woman described the incident, the suspect and his vehicle to officers and Special Victims Unit detectives.
There is no indication that the victim and Greyer knew each other at the time of the incident, police said.
Greyer was arrested Jan. 17 at his Phoenix home and booked into jail on four counts of sexual assault, three counts of kidnapping, one count of sexual abuse, one count of criminal damage and multiple unrelated outstanding warrants, according to a police department release.
