Chandler outgoing school board members praised

Two Governing Board members whose terms are ending had sentimental words for people of the Chandler Unified School District at their final meeting.

There was plenty of praise voiced for those board members as well.

Jason Olive and Joel Wirth, who were both newly elected to the CUSD board in 2020, both decided to not run for second terms. Their teams ended with the Dec. 11 meeting, as they’ll be replaced by Claudia Mendoza and Ryan J. Heap in January.
