Chandler nurse honored for heroic help with house fire

Chandler resident and nurse Nick Arreola holds a statuette given to him as a community award Nov. 10, with his girlfriend, Kassandra Martinez, and Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke at his sides, surrounded by the City Council, along with some of Arreola’s family and the Quezada family. The Quezadas’ home was on fire on an October night when Arreola, passing by, stopped and alerted all five members in time to get out safely.
