A Chandler elected official and his wife have pushed back after the police department he oversees has referred a political sign-removing case to the county attorney’s office.
O.D. Harris and his wife, Elizabeth Ward, both say they’ve been unfairly targeted and investigated to an excessive degree by police regarding taken and/or damaged “No O.D.” campaign signs.
Harris, who earned the most votes as one of two incumbents in the July 30 Chandler City Council election, already has sewn up a new four-year term.
