AvAir, headquartered in Chandler with operations in Dublin, Ireland, recently learned it’s become officially climate-neutral certified.
AvAir has achieved the Climate Neutral Certified standard from the nonprofit Change Climate. The company said, in a news release, it’s the first aviation company in the aviation industry to achieve this.
The standard is achieved by measuring 12 months of greenhouse gas emissions, taking action on reduction plans and compensating the brand footprint with eligible-verified credits.

AvAir, a parts supplier for the aviation aftermarket, says it’s committed to removing almost 7,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, which is equal to driving 1,500 fewer gas-powered cars for 1 year, and taking steps to continue to reduce carbon dioxide emissions that are a result of the company’s and team’s actions.
AvAir also says it supports the WM Phoenix Open’s Working for Tomorrow Fund, helping finance water restoration and renewable energy projects on tribal land in Arizona.
