Here are the Thanksgiving weekend interruptions to City of Chandler hours and services this year:

• City administrative offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24. 
• There will be no trash or recycling collection on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 23. If your regular collection day is Thursday, place your container at the curb by 6 a.m. Friday.
• Residents who have regular Friday trash collection are asked to place their cans at the curb by 6 a.m. Saturday. Collection might occur any time from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
• The Recycling-Solid Waste Collection Center will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24.  
• A special "Turkey Swim" lap swimming session will be held at Hamilton Aquatic Center from 5:30-7:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Bring a canned food donation to swim for free. No lap swimming session will be held at Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center and Nozomi Aquatic Center on Thursday, Nov. 23.
• Arrowhead Pool and Folley Pool are closed for the season. 
• Tumbleweed Recreation Center will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 23 and open holiday schedule hours from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24. 
• The Chandler Tennis Center will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, and will reopen for regular hours beginning on Friday, Nov. 24. 
• The Chandler Nature Center, Snedigar Recreation Center, Senior Center and Community Center will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24.  
• All four Chandler libraries will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22 and will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24. 
• Chandler Museum will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24.  
• The box office at the Center for the Arts will be closed on Thursday, and open from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24. 
• The Vision Gallery will be closed Thursday through Saturday.
