Mark Stewart says when he sees millions and millions of Chandler city dollars being spent, he wants to hear about it.
The Chandler City Council member was able to do that last week during a Sept. 18 study session. He called for the city's top engineer to go over a number of expensive public works projects that have been on recent council agendas.
The city’s senior engineer, John Knudson, said there were about 28 water or wastewater infrastructure items on the agenda for the study session, which he believed to be a record. About 15 were related to projects involving replacement of aging infrastructure.
