Chandler elementary IB program has several aims

CUSD leaders hope unique programs keep, lure in new enrollment

As Andersen Elementary Principal Kristin Kinghorn was surveying what her school needed in December 2021, the answer wasn’t one single thing.

It was six things.

Kinghorn laid out those six things the school needed from a new type of curriculum, along with detailing the goals and function of Andersen’s International Baccalaureate program. She detailed the origin and evolution of the Andersen program at a well-attended Sept. 13 Chandler Unified School District Governing Board study session.
