East Valley student learning bioscience through immersion

Hannah Nough has been picked to be part of something special.

The Perry High School senior-to-be was selected from among more than 200 candidates to participate in the TGen Bioscience Leadership Academy this summer. This was after she was selected as one of 40 finalists invited to interview with a panel of community leaders and TGen scientists.

The 20 student selectees where chosen for a two-week camp in which they’ll learn about genomic medicine and will collaborate with STEM professionals.
