Chandler district spends almost $2M on iPads for a single grade level

​The Chandler Unified School District Governing Board approved one of its larger single technology hardware purchses of the year March 27 when it OKed the only action item of its regular meeting.

The unanimous action was for a nearly $2 million purchase of 2,800 iPad tablet computers and ancillary hardware and services from Apple Inc.

The iPads will be for use in small-group, second-grade settings across CUSD’s 31 elementary schools.
