Chandler Council to deal with water suit, development, sidewalks in busy week

A contract to replace sidewalks running through one of Chandler’s older neighborhood parks is one of many items the City Council will be tasked with addressing in a busy April 20 week of meetings.

Hunter Contracting Co. is set to be paid slightly more than $1.34 million to redo the wide concrete sidewalks within Pima Park that create loops of pedestrian paths.

The park’s paths were built when the park was created in 1980, a staff report states.
