Chandler Council to address data center, interim city clerk position

Most months, it’s unclear which items on Chandler City Council meeting agendas will involve lengthy presentations and/or discussions.

This month, however, it seems almost certain one item will be discussed at length — as it’s already been brought up at multiple meetings.

The owner and developer of a commercial property in south Chandler — located near Intel’s Ocotillo campus, but also near many homes — wants zoning and plan approval to construct what it calls an “A.I. data center.”
