There are a myriad of different tasks for the Chandler City Council to complete in its last week of regular meetings of fiscal 2025.
Fiscal years for Arizona municipalities run July 1 to June 30. So while there aren’t many funds left to spend on any city ledger, there are many annual and special items for the council to discuss and/or act on this week.
Monday, June 23, the council is set to meet in a 4 p.m. executive closed session to consider appointing John Pombier as acting city manager. Current City Manager Josh Wright announced in late May that his last day with Chandler will Aug. 1,
