Chandler Council recognizes retiring police chief

A large portion of Monday night’s one-hour Chandler City Council study session was devoted to the retirement of one employee.

That was Sean Duggan, the city’s police chief, who is retiring this month after 10 years as chief and about 37 years in law enforcement.

Flanked by Council member Mark Stewart and Mayor Kevin Hartke, Duggan was handed a plaque, a mock street sign with his name on it and the key to the city.
