Chandler Council passes design phase of widening project

A contract for the design phase of a major South Chandler street project was among the items given preliminary approval by the Chandler City Council at its Feb. 8 meeting.

Olsson Inc. is the firm with whom Chandler staff wants Council to approve a $741,000 contract for the design phase of Alma School road improvements from Germann Road to Queen Creek roads.

The ordinance that includes the contract could be given final approval at the Council’s Feb. 22 meeting.
