Chandler Council OKs $1.868B budget

Changes made since May 1 budget briefing

The city of Chandler’s fiscal 2027 budget has undergone changes since it was presented in detail May 1.

The budget the City Council unanimously approved June 11 for the fiscal year ahead, which starts July 1, has been adjusted to account for five new positions to be created and to reduce the primary property tax rate for the 11th consecutive year.

Council approved the $1.868 billion fiscal 2027 budget June 11, with official primary property tax rate annual setting procedures set for the week of June 25.
