Chandler council member suing Chandler council, former police chief, city manager

In order to resolve and discourage recurrence of a difficult situation, a Chandler City Council member and a company she owns are plaintiffs in a defamation lawsuit, alleging spreading of false information about her.

Because Jane Poston is suing the city she was elected to serve in 2022, she has the somewhat unique distinction as also being listed as one of the defendants.

Poston and her company, J2 Media, have filed a lawsuit in Maricopa County Superior Court against former Chandler Police Chief Sean Duggan, along with the city of Chandler, the Chandler City Council as a group, all seven council members listed individually (including herself), City Manager Josh Wright and Assistant Police Chief Dave Ramer.
