Chandler Council member: ‘Investigation’ is only a rumor

The idea of the FBI investigating a Chandler City Council member is only a rumor, according to that council member.

In a media report published earlier this month, an email communication from now-former Chandler Police Chief Sean Duggan to City Manager Josh Wright is presented, with Duggan informing Wright that the FBI “is investigating” both Chandler City Council member Jane Poston and now-former Chandler Law Enforcement Association president Officer Michael Collins for “corruption.”

This email, sent from now-retired Chandler Police Chief Sean Duggan to City Manager Josh Wright, says the chief belived both Chandler City Council member Jane Poston and now-former Chandler Law Enforcement Association president Michael Collins were under FBI investigation for “corruption.”
