Chandler Council helps with pass-through medical grant

By approving its consent agenda at a recent meeting, the Chandler City Council accepted a pass-through grant that will help get an East Valley medical education agency some much-needed supplies.

The council approved a resolution at its June 29 meeting that authorizes the submittal of a $238,000 pass-through Indian Gaming Grant application from Dignity Health Foundation – East Valley to the Ak-Chin Indian Community.

The grant is for the purchase of simulation training equipment.
