Chandler Council hears details of $13M Tumbleweed Rec expansion

Building, finished in 2008, will take on all-ages programs

The Chandler City Council heard details Monday about a planned expansion of one of its most used facilities.

Council had three contracts on Monday’s study session agenda, totaling almost $13 million in spending, to expand the Tumbleweed Recreation Center Multi-Generational Facility.

The contracts were approved Thursday, Dec. 7 when council OKed its consent agenda of its regular meeting.
