Chandler Council focused on improving code enforcement outcomes

Chandler officials are looking for ways to educate residents about city codes, blight and cleaning up the community.

Guy Jaques, the Neighborhood Preservation senior manager for the city, said education of residents about city code is a top priority.

That point sparked a lively discussion about cleaning up the city among council and a few staff members, as it was made during an Aug. 17 work session about code enforcement and neighborhood preservation.
