Chandler Council examines water inventory, challenges ahead

A recent work session allowed the Chandler City Council to inventory some of the actual water it manages — along with looking over some of the important water business it has taken care of in recent years.

The work session also included discussion of the city’s challenges and potential water challenges in the years ahead.

Simone Kjolsrud, the city’s water resource advisor, said Chandler has 360 unique customers for its reclaimed water, which comes to about 30,000 acre feet per year.
