One of the Chandler City Council’s two closed-door executive sessions held May 19 was to address language a city attorney later called “out of alignment.”
Three nights later, council voted unanimously to submit a city charter amendment to voters Nov. 4 that will give the council more freedom if it decides to terminate its city manager.
While there’s been no recent public dialogue involving council regarding getting rid of City Manager Josh Wright, there has been plenty of discussion about the charter the past two weeks.
