Chandler Council approves latest Arizona Ave. / Loop 202 plan

The first time plans to build on one Chandler 45-acre site were approved, many current Chandler city employees weren’t even alive yet.

That was 1987, when the site, along the west side of Arizona Avenue between Pecos Road and Loop 202, was part of a larger planned area development.

The site has been approved for a few different plans over the past 37 years, including a detailed multiuse 2022 approval where Council emphasized inclusion of rental housing.
