The Chandler City Council recently decided to approve a permit affecting a marijuana dispensary’s plans.
A conditional use permit for Ponderosa Dispensary was approved at the Council’s April 27 meeting. The permit allows Ponderosa to co-locate an ancillary medical marijuana facility, a medical marijuana cultivation site and medical food infusion under one roof at its 318 S. Braken Lane location.
The Council voted, by a unanimously approving its regular meeting consent agenda, to approve the permit. A few days prior, at an April 24 study session, Council member Christine Ellis pulled the topic for discussion, in order to ask some questions of a Ponderosa representative.
