Chandler Council approves adjustment to Intel agreement

Legislature removed $50M reimbursement cap

This week, the Chandler City Council approved some changes to a major contract.
The city may pick up 20% of the cost of infrastructure at or near Intel’s expanding Ocotillo facility, with state sales tax revenue reimbursing the city for as much as 80%.

In 2019, the city approved agreements with both Intel and with the Arizona Department of Revenue to fund needed infrastructure improvements.
