Chandler Council agendas: Bike lane project, much more

Sewer rehab that’s part of the Frye Road bike lanes project covers two of the dozens of items that will be on agendas this week for meetings of the Chandler City Council. Monday, a 4 p.m. budget work session will be followed by a 6 p.m. study session and regular meeting, with a Thursday 6 p.m. regular meeting set as well at City Hall, 88 E. Chicago St., Downtown Chandler.

Contracts for a major makeover of a central street are among the items on one of the Chandler City Council’s agendas this week.

A pair of contracts for the Frye Road bike lanes project are on the council’s Monday study session agenda. Archer Western Construction, LLC is staff’s recommendation for a contract for about $1.11 million to rehab Frye Road sewers as part of the project.

Consultant Engineering, Inc. is recommended for a $184,000 management contract for the sewer project.
