Management at one of Downtown Chandler’s most successful businesses announced Monday that its founder had died.
Santan Brewing Co. said via social media that Anthony Canecchia, its founder, had died at age 51. No cause of death was mentioned.
“We are deeply saddened to receive news of the passing of our very own Anthony, founder of SanTan Brewing Company and a pioneer in his field,” the brewery wrote in its post. “ We ask for your patience and understanding as we make necessary arrangements and navigate the journey of grief. Out of respect for his family, friends, and colleagues, we kindly ask that you respect their privacy during this difficult time.”
