"With over 40 years of history supporting local communities in Arizona, it is our privilege to come together and contribute to initiatives that have a positive impact,” Vince Guglielmetti, vice president of Global Fab Facilities Operations at Intel, said.

One volunteer activity included assembling 1,000 kits to support educators striving for quality education, estimated to help more than 3,800 local students. The kits were created by the Be Kind People Project, an organization dedicated to enhancing children's lives through social and emotional learning, a release stated.
Intel employees also collaborated with My Sisters’ Place “to complete 400 heartfelt cards that will be sent to overseas military personnel to show appreciation for their service,” according to the company release.
In addition, 120 Intel volunteers visited Feed My Starving Children to pack 196 food boxes in a day, providing 42,336 meals to families and children experiencing hunger, or enough meals to sustain 115 children for a year, the release stated.
Along with the volunteer hours contributed by employees, the Intel Foundation also matches employee volunteer hours at $10 per hour, totaling $6,000 to four organizations.
