Kurt Johansen has been promoted to market president at Western State Bank.
Johansen will continue to provide strategy and leadership for Western’s commercial banking and residential teams in Arizona.
He joined Western in 2019 and has over 30 years of banking experience. Johansen lives in Queen Creek and serves on the board for the Chandler Compadres.
Founded in 1902, Western State Bank is an employee-owned community bank with assets totaling over $1.5 billion. The bank offers full-banking services, investments, and mortgage financing to personal and business customers, as well as nationwide equipment financing services.
