CD5: Opponent blasts Lamb for skipping debate

SCOTTSDALE — A challenger for a Congressional seat took his turn making his case for the party nomination June 3 — though he had to do it without his opponent’s immediate feedback.

Daniel Keenan, a Gilbert resident and the founder of DK Builders, was the lone person to show up June 3 for the Clean Elections’ Congressional District 5 Republican primary debate. His opponent, President Trump-endorsed former Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb.

Keenan began and ended his 30 minutes in the televised interview with Clean Elections by pointing out that Lamb had declined.
