Cave Creek to discuss buying Harquahala Valley water for more than $11M

The Cave Creek Town Council will meet Tuesday night to discuss the purchase of groundwater rights from Harquahala Valley Landowners LLC.

The council met in an executive session Oct. 7 to discuss this issue, and plan to meet again in executive session Tuesday before bringing it forward for a vote.

The town entered into a non-disclosure agreement with Harquahala in February to evaluate if this project could provide the town with new water resources.
