Cave Creek officials preach water conservation amid pending supply issues

Conserving outdoor water use was the message Cave Creek Mayor Robert Morris preached to residents who attended a water resource town hall meeting Wednesday at the council chambers.

Those in attendance heard presentations from Central Arizona Project Resource Planning and Analysis manager Natalie Mast, Arizona Water Buffalo LLC Hydrologist and Cave Creek consultant Brad Hill, and town Utility Services Director Shaun Kreuzwiesner, along with Arizona water attorney Michele Van Quathem, concerning Cave Creek’s upcoming water reductions.

About 95% of Cave Creek’s water comes from the CAP, which comes from the Colorado River.
