Catherine Miranda ahead of Joshua Ayala in LD 11 Senate race

Incumbent Democrat Catherine Miranda is pulling ahead of opponent Republican Joshua Ayala in early returns in the Nov. 3 election in Arizona’s legislative district 11 in a battle to be state senator.

Miranda has over 26,000 votes and over 81% of the vote, with Ayala bringing in over 5,900 votes.

Miranda has served in the state Legislature since 2011 in several districts as a representative.
