I read your recent article (“Coyotes infiltrate neighborhood”).
Ironically, just one week before reading it, I took a tour at the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center in Scottsdale. Our group learned a lot about wildlife, including coyotes. I was impressed with the guide’s knowledge.
With a passion for helping people, and a desire to better understand wildlife, I felt drawn to reach out to some experts for ideas/solutions on coyotes in neighborhoods and contacted the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center.

I had an informative, lengthy conversation with an education specialist from Southwest Wildlife and the timing was uncanny. She was just finishing an article about coyotes in Phoenix-area neighborhoods! I found her article very helpful and insightful and felt compelled to share it with you and the Sun City community.

The article could give the community more insight and peace around this issue. Perhaps even inspire people to try living in harmony with Arizona’s wildlife.
