SUN CITY - Carolyn K. Ross, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 12, 2011, in Sun City. Born July 20, 1938, in South Bend, Ind., she graduated from Riley High School in 1956. She lived in Orange County and San Diego, Calif., before moving to Sun City in 2006. Caroyln worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for Lab Corp., Arrowhead Hospital and Simon Medical. She is survived by her husband, William A. Ruoss; two daughters, Heather A. Pool of Grand Junction, Colo., and Holly B. Thwaits of Litchfield Park; brother, Robert W. Collier (Cherie) of South Bend, Ind.; sister, Marcella Collier of Goodyear; six grandchildren; and a neice and nephew in Washington. Services were held at her bedside with family and friends present.
