Carol lost her battle with cancer on Sunday, October 15, 2023. She was born on September 13, 1955, in Sweet Home, OR to Paul and Martha Holder. She was 1 of 11 children. After graduating from Central Linn HS, she moved to FL where she met her husband. After moving around the country, they settled in Oregon where they raised their three sons. Carol worked at US Bank before her 20 years at Legacy Health Systems where she retired in 2019. After retirement, Carol and her husband enjoyed life in SCW. She loved cooking, the holiday season, Elvis and penguins. Her happy places were the beach and the casino, but she was happiest being with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Carol lit up a room and was loved by everyone. She is survived by her husband, Harold; three sons, Mike and wife Kristie, Jeff and wife Sue, Rob and wife Kristine; stepson, William and wife Dawn; and stepdaughter, Terri Deem and husband Jimmey. Along with her 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind siblings, Cordia Sprague, Linda Martin, Kenney Holder, and Harold Holder plus a niece and 2 nephews. She is going to be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. A celebration of life will be held soon.
